We played a big and fast Rodriquez team who was the defending division 3 section championships. We played them hard to the end shutting them out in the second half. We caused 4 turnovers but was not able to capitalize in the end. We had 4 scoring opportunities inside the redzone. It was a great effort on both sides of the ball. This season seen it ups and downs. We had to play many games with at least one starter being sidelines due to injury. We had a very competitive schedule with our 4 regular season losses coming to teams ranked in the top 10 in the Sacramento region. Two of those teams being ranked in the state. We were able to battle through a 5 game road trip and still manage to host a first round home playoff game. This showed the desire these student-athletes put forth throughout the season. In the end we were able to break into the top 20 Sacramento regional rankings at #18, and win the week 10 game of the week for KCRA. Go Wolves!! Coach Salinas |

Once again we are the city champions with defeating a spirited Pioneer team 30-14. We now have a huge task at hand with taking on the defending division 3 section champions in Rodriquez Mustangs out of Farfield. With your support we are ready to take on the challenge and upset the mighty Mustangs. |
